Rave! Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash & Replenishing Rich Moisturizer

Hello Beauty Loves!

This is going to be a huge rave on two products I picked up recently. And I say “rave” not “review” because there is literally nothing bad I can say about these two products! I absolutely love them!! So, lets get started started 🙂

So, these are the Simple, Moisturizing Face Wash and Replenishing Rich Moisturizer. Let me start off by saying, I have been searching for a good moisturizer, drugstore and high-end, for MONTHS now… I have combination-oily skin, meaning I am dry on my cheeks but tend to produce more oil around the forehead, nose, and chin area. And, believe it or not, you oily skinned girls – moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!! The more moisturized your skin is, the less oil it feels it needs to produce. Resulting in less oily areas throughout the day and even less acne caused by over production of oil! I tend to get dry patches sporadically around my face and have yet to find a moisturizer that moisturizes those areas, without making the rest of my face an oil slick for the rest of the day. And, I think I’ve found it!

Simples’ Replenishing Rich Moisturizer is your basic moisturizer, without all the nasty chemicals and parabens, but with all the moisture you could ask for. My skin drinks this up! Goodbye dry patches!! This product is very light on the skin but definitely gets the job done – tremendously! It does not feel greasy, heavy, or oily on the skin at all. I use this baby as my morning and night time moisturizer at the moment and I am loving it.

Another big help, I feel like, in my newly moisturized (and balanced) skin is also a Simple product. This one being the Moisturizing Facial Wash. I have yet to see a face wash that claims to leave your skin moisturized as well, besides this one. That is what drew me in on this product. Up until recently I had been using the Aveeno Ultra Calming foaming facial wash, which worked, but left me feeling very dry afterwards, I felt like I needed to deeply moisturize right after using that product. But, since using this new moisturizing face wash, my skin feels more soft and supple than ever before after cleansing my face! I swear these two products have kept my hormonal acne at bay for 2 weeks now! Very impressed! I think I have finally found some great moisturizing products!!

If you are in the market for a new cleanser or moisturizer, definitely check these out! You can find them at your local drugstore, very inexpensive, and they definitely do the job!!

Hope you all enjoyed and found this helpful!!

Tarte – Show Your True Colors – Review

This first review is going to be on the Show Your True Colors Tarte kit I purchased recently! Fore-warning, I was like obsessed with everything in this kit so the reviews below will be my opinions on how they preformed, their color pay off, longevity etc!

I want to start off by saying all opinions are my own and they are meant to help others looking for information on these products, ie; whether they are worth the money, preform well, show good color pay off etc. These are just my opinions on these products!

Now, lets get started 🙂

First off, Tartes Natural Cheek Tint in Achiote

Natural Cheek Tint in Achiote – $26

Okay, so keep in mind, makeup is meant to enhance your natural beauty, not cover it. With that being said, the consistency, formula and color of this product all stick with that very important rule of thumb. The color pay off of this particular product is quite sheer but can be built up if need be. I love the feel of this tint and it can be applied with either a cream blush brush or just your fingers! As for the staying power of this product, I can’t say I’ve noticed that this product has lasted all day but it definitely stays put for a good while. Definitely a good buy!

Next up, LipSurgance lip shine!

LipSurgance Lipshine in Smitten – $24

“Smitten” on the lips

Again, loved this product! Very natural looking and also a color that could look good on multiple skin tones! Packaging and formula were great! Something I love about the packaging of the LipSurgance colors is the fact that the cap actually has a sharpener inside of it, no more searching for a sharpener that’s big enough to sharpen my lip stain pencils! Loved the color and color pay off of this one! One thing that I disliked about this product was that it can leave clumps of color on your lips so you have to be careful when applying, but other than that, loved it!

ModernEYES creaseless shadow/liner duo Plum Bronze Liner – $19

ModernEYES creaseless shadow in Plumberry

Love these as well! This duo is infused with Maracuja oil and are formulated to be creaseless and water proof, perfect for summer time girlies! I usually stay more on the bronze/brown colors when it comes to eyeshadows and liners so I was surprised when I saw the name of these two, because they do have a tint of a plum color in both. Although the liner leans more towards the brown side. Either way, the formula of these two are very creamy and rich. And these are definitely very long lasting products so that is definitely a huge plus for me!

Maracuja C-Brightener Eye Treatment – Full size $38

Last but not least, the eye treatment! Now, I realize I am only 20 years old and I have yet to see any deep wrinkles yet but! Its always best to prevent instead of having to rewind damage done after a couple years. I have been looking for a an eye cream to prevent these types of problems for a while now. This is the sample size so I did not get a lot of the product – AT ALL 😦 – but, so far so good. I have been using this every night and I am loving it so far! It can be a little oily since it is made with Maracuja oil, and I’m not sure if it’s just my sample or what but the oil doesn’t seem to mix in with the rest of the formula, but, never the less, it does the job and I can actually see a noticeable difference with this one!

Those are all the products! Hope you all enjoyed and found it helpful!

First Post

Hello there!

To my, zero followers at this point…haha

My name is Grace Turner, I am 20 years old and a sophomore in college. And, I just happen to be your typical girly-girl. Completely “obsessed” with any and all things beauty! I can spend almost too many hours researching reviews, watching YouTube videos, and connecting with other beauty gurus on countless beauty products. I love trying out new and different products and have always been the one to give my friends and family the inside scoop on many different products, druge-store or high-end!

After years of buying products, testing them out, discovering different makeup looks, skincare routines and more, and only being able to share my opinion on them with a limited amount of people, I decided, why not start a blog dedicated to beauty? And all things beauty, including hauls, routines, reviews, first impressions, etc. And that is exactly where I am right now!

I have never done anything like this before and I’m not exactly sure how this all will go so, bare with me! And, enjoy the journey with me 🙂
